How is Martial Arts for America™ different from other martial arts organizations?
Ask any instructor why they are a member of a martial arts association and you'll receive a variety of answers: to network with other instructors, to offer help and advice, to participate in training events and tournaments and to help instructors grow their schools. These are all important and valid reasons for joining a martial arts organization.

MAFA, however, differs from these organizations in a fundamental way. To grow our schools, MAFA believes we need to change how people think about martial arts. People need to understand that martial arts training is more than Bruce Lee and the Karate Kid, more than tournaments and trophies, more than fitness and self-defense. It's about helping regular people reach their full potential as a person, it's about developing future leaders with good character and ethics. Most after-school programs are unable to teach children the basics of good character as effectively as a good martial arts school.

Once people understand how martial arts training is the most effective and comprehensive way to teach kids , we believe interest and support for all martial arts schools will grow naturally. No other martial arts organization is focused on promoting this message nationally to the public, no one other than MAFA.

What kind of memberships and benefits does MAFA offer?
MAFA's standard membership will save Martial Art school owners 100's of dollars per month off services they already use. By becoming a MAFA member, you get all of your business support services - like websites, consulting materials, advertising slicks, studio management software, etc., for a fraction of what you're currently paying - and in addition, you'll be a direct part of the effort to promote the martial arts throughout the United States.
